Hey there!  Well, my two week holiday break is over and back to the classroom. I’m looking forward to it though, my students are pretty cool.

I’m honored to be Teacher of the Year  at my school, just some things on my prayer list that I can check off! Just as soon as we get back I’m getting ready for programs and performances for my students. So, just to clear things up, what you should know is our kids are wonderful beings they just need more love, guidance and discipline to empower their lives. No doubt, we have our moments when they misbehave and we are holding our head in our hands wondering, “why?” but at the end of the day we have the power, the control and most importantly it’s our responsibility to help them.  Got to love it!!! So hats off to educators,  teachers, counselors, mentors, advisors, administrators, big brothers and sisters, thank you for all that you do!

Wow! A new year, new opportunities and I wish you the best in 2015!

The first in many years that I was able to spend a quiet evening brining in the new year.

Streamers, horns, music, lots of beaming people and lights, however it was different bringing in 2015.

More time to prepare, think, pray and open my mind to the endless opportunities and experiences that will come my way.

I’m so grateful for another wonderful year of life, freedom and to take flight on this awesome musical journey.
